Winning B2B Sales: 15 Critical Sales Activities
Headcount is tight. A sales team often cannot send people off the floor for a full week, and the work still has to get done. The program below is the same program in every case: the same curriculum, the same assignments, and the same exercises. What changes is the calendar, the room, and the size of the group.
There are three formats. A team can sit one of them on its own. Two formats can also be combined, so the people who will sit it get the calendar that fits them. Read the three below in this order: On-Demand is the foundation, Instructor-Led Virtual is the reinforcement, and the In-Person Workshop is the acceleration.
Foundation - 10 hours - 14 self-paced modules
This is the solo path. Participants control the speed and can come back to a module as often as they need. There is no travel, no venue, and no timetable to coordinate across a team. The content is built for efficient work on their own: interactive exercises, quizzes, and AI-powered feedback are already in the modules.
Maximum 25 participants per semester. Flexibility, logistics, program cost, and scale all sit at the top of the comparison. Engagement, team alignment, and immersion sit lower, which is why this format is the foundation rather than the whole journey for a team that still needs practice with an instructor.
Use On-Demand when the team has to stay on the job and the first job is to standardize the core concepts quickly.
Reinforcement - 20 hours - 10 focused 2-hour sessions
This is live instruction without travel, without a venue, and without the long days off the floor that a five-day seminar requires. Each session is two hours, which is short enough to hold attention. People go back to their accounts between sessions and bring the work back in. Maximum 6 participants per session, and at most two sessions in a day, so the instructor can actually coach the individual rather than lecture a room.
Engagement and immersion stay high. Flexibility and logistics are easier than a seminar. The group is small on purpose.
Use Instructor-Led Virtual when the team needs sales call practice, coaching, and feedback with an instructor, and cannot leave the territory for a week.
Acceleration - 40 hours - 5-day intensive seminar
This is the classroom. Natural pacing, group discussion, breaks, and the time it takes to travel and set up. Maximum interpersonal work and team alignment. Maximum 12 participants per seminar, which is a classroom, not a boardroom of six. Engagement, team alignment, and immersion are at the top of the comparison. Flexibility, logistics, and scale are at the bottom: people are off the floor.
The same 40 hours and the same curriculum are also available as a public seminar: open enrollment, professionals from other companies in the room, no minimum number from your side. Send one person or send the team.
Use the In-Person Workshop when the team needs full immersion away from the daily load, and the room is the point.
A team can take one format on its own. Two formats can also be combined, and together they still cover the full curriculum:
The delivery format does not change what is learned. It changes the calendar, the room, and the size of the group. The choice is the people who will sit it, their diary, and how much time they can take off the floor.
